Do I need an XTU action camera to join?
Original content captured with any action camera brand is welcome.
Which social media platforms can I use?
You can enter on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, or X.
Include #CaughtOnXTU in your caption, tag XTU’s official account on that platform, and keep your post public so we can find it.
What kind of content can I share?
Share original action camera photos or videos featuring cycling, surfing, diving, skiing, snowboarding, climbing, travel, or everyday adventures. We welcome exciting perspectives, personal milestones, and unexpected moments. Only submit content you own and have the right to share.
How are winners selected?
We look at creativity, originality, relevance to the challenge, and authentic engagement. Views and likes may help your entry stand out, but they do not determine the winner alone. Purchased or artificially boosted engagement may result in disqualification.
When will winners be announced?
Winners will be selected at the end of each month during the campaign. XTU will contact selected winners through the contact information or social media account associated with their entry.
Can I enter more than once?
Each original moment may be entered once. Reposted, copied, or misleading entries may be excluded from judging.
Do I need to send the original files?
XTU may contact selected entrants to request original files. Please keep your original photos and videos available.
Will XTU use my photos or videos?
By entering, you confirm that you own the content and have the right to share it. XTU may contact selected entrants to request permission to use their content.
Does every entry receive a prize?
No. Prizes are awarded to selected winners based on content quality, originality, relevance to #CaughtOnXTU, authentic engagement, and organic reach. Views and likes alone do not determine the winners.

How to Earn Your Camera Refund
Submit your footage, build your selection count, and unlock your refund.

Submit Your Footage
Upload your original videos to a file-sharing service and enable download access. Send us the links with your camera model, order number, and a short description.

Get Reviewed
XTU reviews each submission for quality, originality, and storytelling. A video counts as selected only after confirmation by official XTU email.

Reach Three Selections
Keep sharing until three different eligible videos are selected. Submitting three videos alone does not qualify for a refund.

Claim Your Refund
Once all three selected videos have been used by XTU, we’ll verify your purchase and begin processing a refund of your camera’s actual purchase price.

Where should I send my footage?
Email your file-sharing links to marketing.xtu@xtucam.com. Please enable viewing and download access, and include your camera model, order number, and a short description of each video.
Do I need to post on social media?
No. Submit your footage directly to marketing.xtu@xtucam.com. The social media challenge is a separate activity.
How do I submit large video files?
Upload your original videos to Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or WeTransfer, then email the shareable links to marketing.xtu@xtucam.com. Please enable viewing and download access and keep the links active while your submission is being reviewed.
How many videos do I need to qualify for a refund?
Three different original videos must be selected and used by XTU.
Each selection must be confirmed by email from marketing.xtu@xtucam.com. You may submit more than three videos, but submitting three videos alone does not guarantee a refund. Multiple edits of the same event or scene count as one entry.
How will I know if my footage is selected?
You’ll receive confirmation from marketing.xtu@xtucam.com. Social media likes, comments, or messages do not count as official selection.
Where will my footage be used?
Selected footage may appear on XTU’s official social media channels and website.
When will my refund be processed?
Processing begins after all three selected videos have been used and your refund eligibility has been verified. For refund inquiries, contact marketing.xtu@xtucam.com.
Are there any refund restrictions?
One refund is available per person and device. Gifted products and review samples are not eligible.
